William "Bill" Shead, age 86, of Douglasville passed away May 1, 2019. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 4:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Croker Elliott Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 2-4:00pm at the funeral home.
Preceded in death by: Spouse – Clastell Shead; Sisters – Betty Jo and Irving Pittman and Helen and Raymond Melton; Brother - John Freeman
Survivors include: Step-Daughter – Freda and Bruce Fowler of Douglasville; Sister-in-law- Dorothy Shead of Douglasville; 2 Grandchildren – Daniel and Katie Fowler and Joshua and Mary Peyton Fowler; 3 Great Grandchildren – Micah and Emmett Fowler and Olivia Anderson; Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Shead served in the United States Army and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Temple. He was a truck driver for many years and retired from Owens Corning.
