William "Jimmy" Eagle, III, 87 of Hiram passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025.  Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Friday April 25th, with Mr. Butch Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens.  The Family will receive friends, Thursday evening April 24th, from 5:00-8:00pm.

Jimmy served in the Navy.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher and Bus Driver.  Jimmy loved gardening, to build and watching the Braves.  He retired from the federal penitentiary in Atlanta after 25 years of service and continued working for an additional 10 yrs with Sam's Club before fully retiring.

Jimmy was preceded in death by parents, William and Bertie Eagle; siblings, Yvonne Gorgon, Marlene Tidwell and Lionel Eagle.  He is survived by his wife, Lila Lee Eagle; children, Brent William Eagle and Barry James Eagle both of Hiram, Bruce Harold Eagle of Cleveland, GA, Becky Michelle (Jeff) Robinson of Smyrna and Bonni Lee Howell of Hiram; sister, Carmen Burnette; grandchildren, Elizabeth Eagle Parker, Joshua Eagle, Elaine Eagle, Jennifer Eagle Hammonds (Donny), Ashley Robinson Tressel (Mac), Jaron Eagle (Christa), Charles Robinson (Desirea), Jarus Eagle (Ashley), Stevie Howell (Julie), Blake Eagle, Brandon Eagle (Kayla), Savannah Robinson, Mason Howell (Chloe'), Ashlynn Carroll; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survives.
