Mr. William "Billy" Mauldin Sr., age 91, of Powder Springs passed away Friday, January 22, 2021.

Mr. William "Billy" Mauldin Sr. was born on April 17, 1929, the son of the late Mr. John Lemon Mauldin Sr. and the late Martha Sue Cunningham Mauldin. Mr. Mauldin Sr. was a member of House of Prayer of Douglasville and worked for over 60 years in Asbestos.

Mr. Mauldin Sr. was preceded in death by his son, William Mauldin Jr.

Mr. Mauldin Sr. is survived by his wife, Louise Mauldin of Powder Springs; daughter, Sue Mauldin of Powder Springs; sons, Richard Mauldin of Michigan, Jimmy Mauldin of Marietta, and Eddie Thompson of Powder Springs; daughter-in-law, Frances Mauldin of Dahlonega; sisters, Joan Bennett of Hiram and Sandy Gibson of Marietta; Bud Mauldin (Pat) of Pikesville, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Mauldin Sr. will be held on Tuesday, January 26th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the service hour.
