William "Bill" Baisch, 93, took his last breath here on earth Wednesday, April 11, a few minutes before midnight an was welcomed Home, into his Savior's arms.
He is proceeded in death by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Baisch. He is survived by his three daughters: Dorothy (Richard) Fravel, Arlene (Jim) Alderfer, Doreen (Gene) Thornton, grandchildren: Richard (Jessica) Fravel, Edward (Tanya) Fravel, Robert (Rebecca) Alderfer, Terri (Daniel) Mohler great grandchildren: Shannon Fravel, Alex Fravel, Amanda Fravel, Lucy Fravel, Stefen Alderfer, Aksel Alderfer, Reid Mohler.

Bill was born on June 28, 1924 to William, Sr and Isabel Baisch of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Germantown High School, attended Pierce Business School. Because of a heart condition he was deferred from military service in WWII. During the war he worked for the US Army Signal Corp Storage & Issue Agency. He then worked as a Machinist (Metal Lathe and Gang Drill operator) at Yarway, retiring after 35 years.
Bill and Betty moved from Philadelphia to Spinnerstown, in 1972. Then their passion for helping others, through volunteering began. Bill became a volunteer fireman with Milford Twp. Fire Co. (Betty was in the Ladies Auxiliary). And then joined the Lions Club. They both sang at nursing homes with the AARP chapter 3377, and worked Red Cross Blood Drives. They were always very involved at Church, especially enjoying singing in the Choir. Both Bill and Betty enjoyed many trips across the country with their trailer.
Since Bill moved to Georgia (to be near his daughter Doreen) he has lived at Gaines Park-Kennesaw, Atria-Mableton and The Pearl at Dallas. We are so grateful for all of the kind and compassionate care that was giving to Bill. You have all become our extended family. You have blessed us beyond measure. In the last three months we have been specially taken care of by Amity Hospice, Care Patrol - Cobb/Cherokee and Needed Care Support of GA. We are humbled by how God has intimately cared for Bill through this last season and all through his life.

Memorial Service will be Aug. 11th at 1PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1565 Sleepy Hollow Rd., Spinnerstown, PA. Private Interment, for family, will immediately follow service.
