Obituary

On the morning of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, Victoria Anne Miller, 59, passed away in her sleep. She slipped away peacefully, surrounded in the loving home of her two children and amicable friend and ex-husband. After a three-month battle with stage four pancreatic cancer, her suffering and chronic pain is over.

Victoria, or Vikki, was born in Rushville, Indiana on June 11, 1965 to the late LaVerne Pogmore and Frederick Joseph Pogmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Joe Pogmore. Survived by her children, Chase and Cheyenne Miller. She was raised in Knightstown, Indiana – a state in which she held near and dear to her heart. Vikki loved the simple life that is rural Indiana – minimal traffic, gloomy, rainy days, and a small community filled with consignment shops and a quiet lifestyle.

Vikki was a friend to all who knew her. She loved fiercely, extended her kindness in ways that is to be remembered, and embodied warmth and passion. She enjoyed the simple pleasures that life has to offer – a good book, a comfort show, a hot cup of tea, her feet in salty beach water, botanical things, and time with her family. Above all else, Vikki was a proud mother and spared no occasion to highlight her children's accomplishments.

Vikki worked in customer service for the majority of her career. A way with words and full of wit, Vikki was admired by her previous colleagues and customers alike. Vikki had a genuine demeanor and approach that all appreciated – spice, humor, and all.

Vikki's celebration of life is on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 4:30pm at The Olive Tree in Hiram, GA. Though her loved ones will bid her farewell in Georgia, her remains will be buried in New Castle, Indiana at South Mound Cemetery where she will lay to rest with her mother, father, and brother.
