Obituary

Tyler Ramsey, 28, formerly of Paulding County, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018. A 2008 graduate of East Paulding High School, he was the son of Sharon Ramsey and the late James Ramsey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Hannon.

Tyler was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee Vols. Once baseball season began if you were going to hang out with Tyler, you were going to watch the Braves with him. Tyler grew up playing baseball and like many young boys had dreamed of playing professional baseball when he grew up.

After moving to North Alabama with his family, Tyler had reconnected with Azalie and was in the process of moving back to Georgia to begin his life with her. One of his favorite activities was making music with his friends. Tyler loved to make those closest to him laugh. He had the biggest heart and always tried to brighten the spirits of those around him. If you were a friend of Tyler's, you knew he loved you. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving Tyler is his mother, Sharon Ramsey, whom he loved dearly. She was his world. Other survivors include his brother, Jeff Hannon; his sister, Lisa Lewis; his grandmother, Juanita Bailey; his aunts, Susan Zickos and Pam Brooks; his uncle, Bill Akins; and his girlfriend, Azalie.

A Celebration of Life Service for Tyler will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home, 3551 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy., Hiram, GA 30141 with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

To help celebrate Tyler's life, please come prepared to share one of your favorite memories of Tyler. Following the service, please plan to join Tyler's family for a balloon release at White Oak Park, 298 Mustang Dr., Dallas, GA 30132.
