Obituary

Mrs. Tracey Gail Cochran, age 58, of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

Mrs. Cochran was born on January 17, 1966 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. William Larry Wilbanks and the late Mrs. Mary Jane Wilkinson Madden. Tracey was a God-Fearing woman who grew up in the Apostolic church and then later attended Mableton Pentecostal Church in Mableton, GA. She was a youth leader and a Sunday school teacher. She would drive her grandmother's 15 passenger van every Sunday on multiple trips to make sure kids in our neighborhood had a way to church. She was the Neighborhood Mom that everyone came to, she'd help with homework, cook meals and feed the children of the neighborhood. She was always giving back to the community in some way. She would make bags for the Homeless and drop them off to them with a hot plate. Everyone came to my mom for advice. She loved her children deeply and would do anything in the world sick or not to make sure we were okay. Her granddaughter, Emmalee is her pride and joy. Together, they would make crafts, cook, sing and play together all day every day. One of her traditions with Emmalee is that the Elf on the shelf would make sure they were where they needed to be and would leave a gift in her stocking for her every morning the month of Christmas from the Elves. Their favorite thing to do together was make Random Crazy Crafts that they would find online and spend time together watching movies.

Survivors include her husband, David Cochran of Dallas; children, Joshua Hatfield of Dallas, Jamie Hatfield of Dallas, and Isaac Hatfield of Dallas; brother, Rodney Wilbanks (Sharon) of Ohio; sisters, Danielle Baugh (Denzel) of Niles, Ohio and Gabrielle Duncan (Anthony) of North Dakota; grandchild, Emmalee Hatfield; half-brother, Terry Hart.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 3pm from Spirit of Truth Ministries located at 2031 4 Notch Road Carrollton, GA 30116.
