Thomas "Tommy" Harper Jr., age 69, of Hiram, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on April 12, 1956 in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Thomas Eugene Harper Sr. and Myrtle Mae Johns Harper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Wynelle "Bootsie" Harper.

Tommy played many instruments including, guitar, piano, bass and the banjo. He played in several bluegrass bands over the years and played at the Racoon Music Festival for many years. Tommy loved to have cookouts and get together with family and friends. He had also worked for the volunteer fire department for many years in Paulding Co.

Surviving are his sisters, Katie Fennell, Judy and Tim Ragsdale, Virginia Smith and Janice and David Paris; nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia with Reverend Dennis Bellamy officiating. The interment will follow in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service time.
