Mr. Thomas James Carson, age 55, of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Mr. Carson was born on March 5, 1969 in Miami, Florida to the late Mr. Thomas Monroe Carson. Mr. Carson retired from Marietta Power after working as a lineman for 24 years. Thomas was a member and deacon of Hiram First Baptist Church. He was the co youth minister and youth Sunday school teacher. He loved the Lord. He also enjoyed grilling for friends and family. He loved his grandbabies and was the biggest Georgia Bulldogs fan. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred Horne.

Survivors include his wife, Darla Carson of Dallas; children, Allen Lee Edgar (Kristen) of Douglasville, Jessica Ashley Hufstetler (Corey) of Silver Creek, GA, Molly Ann Boggs (Jacob) of Dallas, and James Alec Carson of Dallas; grandchildren, Spencer, Bryson, Marcus, Iris, Abel, Zuri, Ezekiel, Emma, and Avery; sister, Tammy Hill (Brad).

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at 4:00pm from Hiram First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Holcomb officiating. Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Hiram First Baptist Church on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 12:00pm until 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hiram First Baptist Church Building Fund. Donations may be mailed to Hiram First Baptist Church at 4211 Hiram Sudie Road Hiram, GA 30141.
