Mr. Stanley LaFayette McDaniel, age 68, of Centre, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Mr. McDaniel was born on July 1, 1953 to the late Mr. Ralph LaFayette McDaniel and the late Mrs. Maggie Winona Dickerson McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Rock Baptist Church in Dallas, enjoyed Alabama football, and was retired from the City of Kennesaw.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie McDaniel; two daughters, Pamela Morgan and Romona Shutley (Mikie); one son, Alan McDaniel; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 13th at 2:00pm from Rock Baptist Church in Dallas with Rev. Max Padgett and Rev. Lee Griggs officiating. Interment to follow at 4:00pm CST on Wednesday at Fischer Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL with Rev. Marty Padgett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 11th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Mr. McDaniel will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
