Mrs. Shirley Jo Reece, age 86, of Powder Springs passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Mrs. Reece was born August 22, 1936 in Rockmart, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Turner; husband, Farris Lesley Reece; son, Farron Reece; daughter, Joanne Reece, and sister, Joan Turner.

Survivors include her three children, Alvin Reece (Theresa) of Dallas, Leon Reece (Donna) of Douglasville, and Yvonne Shepherd (Gordon) of Marietta; five grandchildren, Richard Reece, Melissa Reece, Mark Reece (Adrien), Kayla Reece, and Angel Shepherd; nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12:00pm from Hiram First Baptist Church located at 4211 Hiram Sudie Road Hiram, GA 30141 with Pastor Benny Reece officiating. Interment to follow at Burnt Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00pm located at Lake Sequoyah Road Jasper, GA 30143.

The family will receive friends at Hiram First Baptist Church on Friday, February 3 ^rd from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
