Sherry Jo Bryant Disharoon, age 79, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Morristown, TN to the late James Bryant Sr. and Sarah Agnes Ramsey Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Disharoon and her brother, Terry Bryant.

She worked as a paralegal for 30 years. Sherry was loved by everybody and had a big heart. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Bobby and Deidra Jordan and Ronny Jordan; her step-children, Darlene Disharoon Boyd and husband Nate and Jason Disharoon; brothers, James Bryant and his wife, Carol and Jerry Bryant and his wife, Denise; sisters, Mary Soulsby and her husband Tom and Kathy Barker and her husband, Robert; nine grandchildren;  one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Bellamy officiating. The interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
