Sara Joyce Maier age 71 of Powder Springs passed away Wednesday July 16, 2014. Mass will be held Saturday July 19, 2014 at 11:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church with Father John Voytek Officiating. The family will receive visitors prior to Mass from 9am-11am at the church. Burial of Cremains will follow at 12:45 Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors Include: Husband: Jim Maier of Powder Springs. 1 Daughter Kathy Cody of Dallas. 3 Sons: Michael Maier of Dallas, Richard Maier of Marietta, and David Maier of Cumming. 7 Grandchildren. Mrs. Maier Retired from WellStar Cobb Hospital as an RN was an Avid Tennis Player and is considered by her family to be the best mom and wife ever.
