Rubie Smith passed away March 21, 2015. A native of Chattanooga, TN, Mrs. Smith attended Red Bank High School; she graduated from Bledsoe County High School. She retired in 1989 after 30 years from Blue Cross Blue Shield where she worked in the financial division.

Mrs. Smith was a long time member of Middle Valley Baptist Church, when she moved to Powder Springs, GA and became a member of Powder Springs First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Robert Smith, mother Lizzie Roberts, father Ransom Roberts, brother Wallace Roberts, sisters Cleo Griffith, Willie Mae Godfrey and Gladys Mills; Mrs. Smith is survived by several Nieces and Nephews and 2 Sister-in-laws.

The Graveside Service will be held March 25 at 11:30am at the Chattanooga Memorial Park

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
