Rodney Eugene Dishman, 58, of Dallas, passed away August 8, 2025.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, August 15 in the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Warren English officiating.  Burial will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens.

Rodney was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to his parents Paul and Donna Dishman.  He attended Indiana University and served in the United States Army.

Rodney was an owner operator long haul trucker for many years and most recently employed with Paulding County Department of Transportation.  He was an avid hunter and exercise enthusiast.  Rodney was a generous and caring person who loved and cherished his wife, Diane and his entire family.

Rodney was preceded in death by, brother Jerry Dishman and grandson, John Monahan, Jr.  He is survived by his dear wife Diane; brothers, Jeff (Theresa) Dishman, Mike (Jamie) Dishman; sister Paula Dishman; aunt, DeAnn Norris; stepchildren, Trent (Beth) Stanley, Michelle (John) Monahan; grandchildren, Matthew, Madelyn, and Will Monahan, Tyler,  Garrett Stanley and Kaden Monahan.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00.
