Mr. Robert Dean Lyons Sr., age 68, of Dallas passed away Monday, January 3, 2022.

Mr. Lyons was born on December 6, 1953 in Shreveport, LA to the late Mr. John Lyons and the late Mrs. Ruth Louise Perkins Lyons. Mr. Lyons proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked in residential/commercial construction all of his life and he enjoyed fishing. Mr. Lyons was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. John Lyons and Mrs. Ruth Lyons.

Survivors include his three sons; Robert Lyons Jr. (Belinda) of Dallas, Chris Lyons (Kayla) of Dallas, and Josh Lyons of Dallas; one sister, Ruth Rose (Jeff) of Utah; one brother, Johnny Lyons of Monroe, LA; fourteen grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 5th at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Don Wilhoit officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, January 24th at 2:00pm at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 5th from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
