Obituary

Richard "Rick" Arthur Hull, 54, passed away on December 2, 2025.
Born on February 5, 1971, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Rick was the beloved son of
Fredrick and Deborah Hull, and grew up primarily in Savannah, Georgia, where he
formed the curiosity, love of sports, and compassion that shaped his life.

Rick studied at the University of Georgia and Georgia Southern University before
earning his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law. He spent his career
practicing law in Georgia, known for his steady guidance and genuine care for the
people he represented.

Rick's proudest achievement was being a devoted father to his son, Matthew Hull. The
two shared a love of playing Dungeons and Dragons and both playing and watching
sports together. His fondest memories were filled with supporting Matt's lacrosse
journey throughout the years and watching him get accepted to the University of
Georgia this year. In September of 2021, he married Stephanie Vulpetti, with whom he
had a loving marriage full of shared adventures, travel, cooking, and a love of all things
Star Wars. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to his stepdaughters, Morgan
Kloosterman (Nick Kloosterman) and Anina Vulpetti.

Those who knew Rick will remember his kind heart, easy spirit, and love of learning. He
loved cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs, analyzing every episode of College Game Day,
and getting lost in documentaries.

He is survived by his parents, Fredrick and Deborah Hull; his sister, Jill Le (her husband
Chris Le, niece Annika and nephew Alexander); his wife, Stephanie; his son, Matthew;
his stepdaughters, Morgan and Anina; and their chocolate labrador Rue.

Per his wishes, the family will honor him in a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to Atlanta Lab Rescue.

Heaven has gained one of the Dawgs' most loyal fans, now cheering from the best seat
in the stadium above. Until we meet again, Rick … "Go Dawgs!" … forever.
