Mr. Ralph H. Hurst age 82 of Rockmart passed away Friday February 23, 2018 Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 1st at Bellamy Chapel Hiram at 1:00pm with Rev. Bobby McDowell and Rev. Sam Leggett officiating. Interment at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Wednesday 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Hurst served in the United States Army, retired from W.R. Grace after 32 years and was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. He loved camping, fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Hurst, his parents Annie and Mathew Hurst, sister's Martha Clark and Mary Fowler and brother James Hurst.
Survivors include 2 daughters Nancy Fain of Rockmart and Martha Kirby of Dallas, 4 sons Bob Hurst (Lori) of Kennesaw, Don Hurst (MJ) of Aragon, Douglas Kirby (Kim) of Hiram, and Hoyt Kirby of Texas. 6 grandchildren; Ricky Fain (Jessie), James Fain (Jada), Blaine Hurst, Amanda Harmon, Davis Calandra and Kyle Calandra. 8 great grandchildren; Logan, Skyleigh, Tyler, Katelyn, Trent, Trace, Dustin and Hannah. And special Lady and Companion Ms. Mamie Hogan. Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
