Mrs. Millie Ellen Dale, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A native of Carrollton, Georgia, Mrs. Dale was born on July 29, 1934, the daughter of the late Oscar Jordan and Delia Maude Sullivan Patterson. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dale was employed with Sears & Roebuck and with Capital Cadillac. She attended the Northwest Christian Church. To know Mrs. Dale was to know that her family was the most important thing in her life. She was preceded in death by her seven sisters and three brothers and by her grandson, Brant Swafford. She was married on September 7, 1986, to Lacy Dale, Sr. who preceded her in death on August 23, 2020.
Survivors include her children: Debbie Freeman Teddar (Carl) of Dallas, GA, Tracey Rucker of Dallas, GA., Brian Rucker of Woodstock, GA., John Ray Dale (Kristi) of Rockmart, GA., and Jr Dale (Rhonda) of Rockmart, GA. Twelve grandchildren: Blake Swafford, Tiffany Stell, Emily Dober, Faith and Jacob Biggs, Trey and Luke Rucker, Jessica Scott, Megan and Michael Dale, Kayla Blan and Amanda Hoskins. Fourteen great grandchildren: Blake, Brenley and Barett Swafford, Myla Biggs, William, Isaiah, Ella and Anna Blan, Jaxon and Jase Scott, Reilly Womack, Adalynn Hardy, Easton and Emma Dale.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dale will be conducted on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:30 and they include Luke Rucker, Trey Rucker, Jacob Biggs, Blake Swafford, Michael Dale, and David Blan. Honorary pallbearers will be William and Isaiah Blan and Barett Swafford.
Flowers are accepted and appreciated, or memorial contributions could be made to the Alzheimer's Society at www.alz.org.
