Michael Lawrence Hillman "Hurricane", age 57, of Douglasville, GA passed away Friday April 16th, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Hillman was born on September 29th, 1963 to Mr. Joseph and Nellie Hillman in Atlanta, GA. Mike was an engine machinist for forty-four years. He was the owner of Hurricane Performance & Auto Machine shop, located in Douglasville, GA, with his son Cory Hillman. His hobbies included asphalt and dirt track racing. He was a two times points championship winner and above all, loved spending time with family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by both his mother, father, and grandparents.

Mike is survived by his three children Cory Michael Hillman, Angela Mae Ledford, and Mason Charles Hillman.

Mike is lovingly remembered by Melissa Leigh Hulsey, mother to Mason. Melody Dawn Bell, mother to Cory. Two grandchildren Emma and Skylar. His brothers and sisters Michele and Thomas Kelly, Joe and Chanda Hillman, Jennifer and Darrin Brownlow, Cale Hillman, as well as Jelena and Jerry McMichael. His nephews and nieces are Thomas Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Matthew and Andrea Kelly, Breanna and Shane Tidwell, Lawren Hillman, Kimberly Hillman, Colton McMichael, Austin McMichael, Dj and Haley Brownlow, Erin and Harley Godwin, Shelby Montrose, Tyler Hicks, and Alexis and Kyle Lands.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 22nd at 3:00 pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Spencer officiating.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
