Mr. Melton "Whitey" Nelson age 73 of Winston, GA. passed away October 2nd, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2pm Bellamy Chapel Hiram, Rev. Larry Hart officiating. The Family will receive visitors Sunday 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Nelson was retired and attended Hiram First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Sue B. Nelson of Martin, GA. 6 daughters; Lisa Robin Thomas of Oak Harbor, WA, Mandy Hart of Hiram, Melissa Nelson of FL.
Jackie Cowan of Martin, Angie Jess Waid of Covington and Ashley Nelson of Martin. 3 sons; Billy Nelson of Douglasville, Christopher Nelson of Martin and Michael W. Nelson of Dahlonega. 3 sisters Ruth Brownlee, Mary Puckett and Elizabeth Yancey. 1 brother Eddie Nelson. 12 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 1 daughter Laury Michelle Nelson.
