Mr. Matt Smith, age 46, of Dallas passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Mr. Smith was born on December 12, 1976 in Austell, GA to the late Mr. Claude Smith and Mrs. Deborah Laverne Ethridge Parker. Matt enjoyed playing the guitar, kayaking, Jitsu, and listening to praise and worship music. He loved animals, his friends, and his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Claude Smith.

Survivors include his mother and stepdad, Deborah and Johnny Parker of Dallas; sister, Britney Winland (Chris) of Acworth; brothers, Walter Smith (Cindy) of Douglasville and Wade Smith (Kim Norwood) of Cartersville; stepbrother, Nick Parker (Mandy) of Clarkdale, GA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At this time, Mr. Smith will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
