Mary Kathryn Mendenhall went to be with her Lord January 7th 2018 with many of her family by her side. Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years Jon Ashley Mendenhall, children Mark and Leilani Mendenhall, Mike and Melanie Mendenhall, Mary and Wade Tuggle, seven grandchildren, nine and soon to be ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Ben Senft, her mother Edna Murray Senft and her brother John Senft.
Mary was born January 7th 1931 in Washington Iowa on her parents farm. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Powder Springs where she sang in the choir. She loved spending her days with her Hubby (Jon Ashley) as she would say. Most of all she loved Jesus and singing about Him.
Mary is remembered as a gracious loving wife, mom and grandma. Her wit and sense of humor brightened everyone she touched.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 10th 2018 at 1:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a gift may be given to First Baptist Powder Springs for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering in her memory.
