Celebration of Life for Martha Lee Van Nouhuys.
Martha was born on February 7, 1955 in Crawford Long Hospital to the former Roy Glenn and Frieda Moss.
Martha was a born-again Christian woman who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and dedicated to HIS commandment of service, witnessing her faith to most everyone she was led to by our Lord Jesus Christ. She and her family were faithful members of Roswell St. Baptist Church in Marietta Georgia for many years enjoying the preaching of good friend Dr. Nelson Price, Emeritis.
Martha's professional life started right after her graduation from South Cobb H.S. where she worked with CocaCola USA as a Supervisor for approximately eight years. She then started working as an Executive Assistant for RJR Nabisco Headquarters for several years and after 25+ years in the corporate world she ended her career as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. After serving many years in the corp. world Martha founded and operated "Sweet Magnolia's Gift's and More" a small florist and gift business in 2007 which served over 500 clients local to the state of Georgia and also throughout the United States.
Martha enjoyed being with and traveling with her family especially enjoying yearly beach outings in S. Carolina and Florida.
Martha is survived by her husband Herbert C. Van Nouhuys Jr. (Bert) of 41 beautiful years of marriage, son Glenn Van Nouhuys and daughter Michelle Lee Van Nouhuys, four grandchildren Tristen, Eli, Nora Lee and Nicole.
Martha is loved and adored by many and will forever be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Chapel of Bellamy funeral home in Hiram GA the with interment being in Mozeley Gardens in Lithia Springs GA. Good friend of family Dennis Bellamy will officiate and conduct both services for Martha. The family will receive friends from 12-2 prior to the service.
