Award Winning Local Author Marie Kobres Bone ,age 95, of Dallas passed away November 7 peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Dallas at 12 noon with Father Adrian officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Preceded in death by Husband of 42 years Doyal Bone and 11 Brothers and Sisters.

Mrs. Bone retired with 35 years of service from National Linen and owned Forget Me Not Florist on Stewart Ave for 35 years. She traveled the world and wrote the book "The Elephant Hotel, Hedwig And The Tagebuch" at the age of 90. This book is available on Amazon where you can read the first five chapters for free. She wanted everyone to know that you are never too old to do anything.
