Ms. Margaret Lee Brooks, age 85, of Cartersville passed away August 6, 2019. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Rev. Greg Farist officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery of Kennesaw. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
Preceded in death by: Parents - James and Mettie Thomas; 11 Siblings; 2 Daughters – Sheila Allen and Teresa Rice; Grandson – Ramsey Rice
Survivors include: Daughter – Sherry and James Ware of Bremen; Sons – Albert and Tammy Rice of Acworth and James (Cricket) and Cami Rice of Cartersville; 13 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews
Ms. Brooks was a stay at home mom for many years then later worked as a funeral home attendant for several funeral homes in the area. She enjoyed fishing, Bingo, horseshoes and playing cards. She loved the Lord and loved her family.
