Mrs. Marcella (Marcey/"GuyGuy") Waters, age 78, of Hiram, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Mrs. Waters was born on September 7, 1945, in San Francisco, California. She was the daughter of the late Coulter Joseph Murphy and the late Marcella Dolores Twomey Murphy. Marcey loved her hometown of San Francisco. Her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter were her life. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her one and only love, her husband, James (Jimmy) Leon Waters, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Waters (LauraLee) of Acworth, Marci "Sissy" Waters of Hiram, and Kathleen Waters of Atlanta; siblings, Tony Murphy (Mariette) of New York and Kathleen Murphy (Michael Novak) of California; grandchildren, Jake Waters (Katira), Alexandra Waters (Alex Webb), and Haley Terry (Alex); great-grandchild, Aryanna Kinsley Waters; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, 10:00am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (87 Lacy Street Marietta, Ga 30060). Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Bellamy Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
