Mrs. Lucy Nell McCravy, age 87, of Dallas passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Mrs. McCravy was born on June 10, 1935 in Eatonton, GA to the late Mr. Shepwood Long and the late Mrs. Nellie Mae Welch. Lucy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved going to Sunday school at her church and loved family gatherings. She enjoyed playing cards and scrabble. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt McCravy Sr.; daughter, Wanda Crider; two sons, Hoyt McCravy Jr. and Darrin McCravy; three sisters, Mildred Hughes, Betty Booker, and Diann Lovelady; granddaughter, Erika McCravy.

Survivors include her daughter, Darlene White (Greg) of Dallas; three sons, Mark McCravy (Barbara) of Temple, Eric McCravy (Chanta) of Temple, and Tony Lovelady (Shanli) of Powder Springs; son-in-law, Chuck Crider; brother, Sherwood Long (Diane) of Locust Grove; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucy McCravy will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Pritchard and Bro. Lee Lawrence officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 23rd from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
