Mrs. Louise Mauldin, age 85, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Mrs. Mauldin was born on April 1, 1938 to the late Mr. William Jordan and the late Mrs. Stella Jordan Jenks. Louise was a member of The House of Prayer in Douglasville, where her pastors were the late Pastor Horace George and the late Pastor Frances George. Her greatest love was serving God. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Mauldin Sr.; step-son, William Mauldin Jr.; siblings, Herschel Jordan, Elbert Jordan, Mary Sheffield, Magalene Stroup, General Jordan, and Paul Jordan.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Thompson of Powder Springs; twin brother, Edward Jordan (Patricia) of Temple; step-children, Richard Mauldin of Michigan, Sue Mauldin of Powder Springs, and Jimmy Mauldin of Marietta; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Preacher David New officiating and Mrs. Susan Selby and Mrs. Valerie Kulaif speaking. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
