Mrs. Lorraine Williams, was the daughter of Mr. Richard Cooley & Mrs. Lena Mae Moseby. She was born on March 5, 1941 In Jones County, Mississippi. Lorraine went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2024. She was a life-long caretaker, nurturer, and teacher who loved spreading joy to others. Lorraine attended St. Michael's High School and then went on to graduate with a Bachelors in Nursing from Malcolm X College in Chicago, Illinois. Lorraine was the wife of Eddie Williams, the mother of Charles & Ramone Trimuel, and Antoinette Williams. She was also a loving grandmother to many grandchildren.

Lorraine was also an avid member of Shaw Temple A.M.E. Zion Church in Smyrna, Georgia where she was surrounded by loving sisters and brothers in Christ.

Her life was a model of faith, resilience and tenacity. Most of all, Lorraine loved being a devoted mother and dedicated grandmother and companion to many. She loved to laugh, was a model mother, fearless friend, lovely lady, relational relative, scintillating sister, and a glowing woman of God who truly fought "the good fight of Faith".

Lorraine passed in Smyrna, Georgia peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, Mr. Eddie Williams, and her only daughter, Antoinette Williams. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving family and friends; four granddaughters among many: Markia Robinson, Mia Robinson, Miana Robinson, and Makayla Robinson; sons, Charles Trimuel (Illinois) and Ramon Trimuel (Wisconsin); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, loyal friends, and  genuine supporters.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Merchuria Chase Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 2nd from 11:30am until 12:00pm.
