Obituary

Mrs. Linda Graves, age 80, of Marietta passed away August 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, John Humes, her mother, Helen Humes, and her husband, Jimmy Graves.

Linda was affiliated with First United Methodist Church of Powder Springs, worked for Beaudry Ford, Don Mark Corporation, and was owner and operator of The Trophy Case in Powder Springs.

Linda was a God and family-centered woman who provided infinite love to her family and friends. She was a great provider who always showed care and love to those around her and always ensured everyone was filled with her amazing cooking and was always extremely generous with her gifts. She was the ultimate host for every family and friend gathering ensuring that her home was the only choice for events.

She is survived by: Daughter - Jimmie Kay Minnix of Douglasville; Son - Terry Graves of Douglasville, Sisters Diane Favors, Denise Bailey, Dawn Dwyer; Brother - John Edward Humes; 4 Grandchildren - Heather Minnix, Dillon Graves, Zach Graves, and Cody Minnix; 7 Great Grandchildren - Alyssa Loden, Xander Minnix,  Kenzlee Graves, Albus Graves, Carter Graves, Cedric Graves, and Landry Graves.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church in Powder Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Powder Springs.
