Ms. Laura Powell Sutton, age 76, of Hiram passed away Friday, January 20, 2023.

Ms. Sutton was born on December 16, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mr. Howard Hinkley Powell and the late Mrs. Dorothy Lee Wallace Powell. Laura retired from Eaton Electrical after working there for almost 50 years. She enjoyed giving presents to the elderly at Christmas. She was a devoted mother and was very supportive of her son while he participated in sports and his military service.

Survivors include her son, Derek Sutton and his fiancé, Wesleigh Reavs.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Smith and Pastor Jonathan Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Riverview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Marietta Funeral Home from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
