Kayla was born in Miami Florida at Homestead hospital on 7-9-97 at 4:37 PM.

She was a Loving Daughter to Harry McKinley Houston and Shinnara Mckenzie.

Kayla was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Miami-Dade County and Georgia public schools, she was a very loving and giving young lady with a heart of gold and enjoyed life. And lived it to the fullest.

Kayla was raised in Miami, Fla. and Marietta, Georgia and had a friend base everywhere she went.

On February 4, 2022 through a tragic road accident Kayla made her transition from this earthly place. She will forever be in our hearts.

Her memories were shared and will forever be remembered by:
Sisters Latrice Blash, Are'ya Houston and Rose Nyambura, Brothers Jamar Baker and Kamron Houston. Grandparents Janice Livingston, Pastors Altermese and Benny Johnson. {Uncles and Aunts} Ann Persel, Malik Mills, Wardell Hanna, Tre'ver/Latoya Davis, Quinton/Michelle Davis Nickoles /Samantha White. Loving nieces and nephews and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends. Kayla had a unique connection with everyone that she encountered. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 19th at 12:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Pastor Nick Keller officiating. Interment to follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 18th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
