Mr. Joseph Malang Jatta Sr., age 60, of Marietta passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Mr. Jatta Sr., was born on January 1, 1962 in Kitty Village, Kombo South The Gambia to the late Mr. Faba Jatta and the late Mrs. Alamuta Demba. Mr. Jatta moved to the United States in 1993. He was a member of the Catholic church and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church of Smyrna. He loved sports and exercising. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jatta was also preceded in death by a grandson.

Survivors include daughter, Jarra Jatta; three sons, Faba Michael Jatta, Joseph Malang Jatta Jr., and Vincent Alamuta Jatta; three sisters, Ellen Jatta, Funtu Jatta, and Domandingo Jatta; four brothers, Lamin Jatta, Kebba Jatta, Abubacarr Jatta, and Chanat Jatta; three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Father James Mendy officiating. Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.
