Mr. Joseph Heinz Blalock, age 66, of Douglasville, GA passed away April 30, 2023.

Mr. Blalock was born on January 7, 1957 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Virgil Franklin Blalock and the late Mrs. Betty Lou Barnes Pullen. Joseph retired after working for 43 years as a maintenance mechanic for Emory Hospital. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sons, Eddie Blalock and Timmy Blalock; sister, Sherry Sims.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Pam Blalock; sister, Mae Hunt of Piedmont, AL; grandchild, Savannah Blalock; daughter-in-law, Cristy Cline.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00am from Tabernacle Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Powell Chapel United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 2nd from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Flowers will be accepted at Tabernacle Baptist Church starting at 3:30pm on Tuesday, May 2nd.
