Mr. Jerry Leonard Ray age 73 of Austell passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 Funeral Services will be held Thursday Feb 7th at 3:00pm Bellamy Chapel Hiram with Rev. Bobby Cheek officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday 6pm - 8pm. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ray served in the United States Navy. He retired after 38 years with Big Star Grocery. He is survived by his wife Margaret Ray of Austell, 3 daughters Deborah Williams (Trey) of Douglasville, Denise Salazer (Jon) of Fort Mill, S.C. and Shelley Ray of Douglasville. 3 sons James Burrell of Davisboro, GA , David Paden (Julie) of Douglasville and Jeff Ray (Melissa) of Villa Rica. 2 sisters Sarah Ladd (Jerry) of Jackson and Debbie Cawthon (Mike) of Charlotte, NC. 1 brother Gary Ray (Dianne) of Dawsonville, GA 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Nieces and Nephews.
