Mr. James Murray Lee, age 82, of Smyrna passed away Monday, August 9, 2021.

Mr. Lee, affectionately known as "Jimmy", was born to the late Mr. Ralph Myron Lee and the late Mrs. Ruby Maffey Lee. Jimmy was retired from the City of Atlanta after 33 years of service as a civil engineer and supervisor. He had been a member of the Leland Masonic Lodge in Mableton and had been active in the Yaarab Shrine, taking children to the hospital. He was a member of Peoples Baptist Church and loved to fish, hunt, and going to Home Depot. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was also preceded in death by his wife, Anita Louise Lee and his two brothers, Ralph Gerald Lee and Larry Eugene Lee.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Cunningham (John) of Bowdon; sons, Sam Lewis (Toni Black) of Dallas and Michael Ray Lee of Roswell; sister, Carol Jenkins of Villa Rica; five grandchildren, James Robert Lewis, Ashlee Brooke Moss, Samantha Catherine Batson (Patrick), Taber James Moss, and Michael Ray Lee Jr., several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 13th at 11:00am from the chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home of Thursday, August 12th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
