Mr. James Larry Mauldin age 70 of Acworth passed away on August 6, 2016 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital from cancer. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday at 2pm Bellamy Chapel Hiram with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. The Family will receive visitors at the funeral home Tuesday 12:00-2pm
He was born in Cobb County Sept. 18, 1945. He is preceded in death by one son Phillip Higdon his parents John Lemon Mauldin and Mattie Sue Cunningham Mauldin and 2 sisters Martha Jean Camp and Helen Graham and 1 brother Robert D. Mauldin.
He is survived by his wife Jewell Mauldin, 3 sons, Duane Mauldin of Douglasville, Gary (Christy) Mauldin of Sylacauga, Al. and Brent (Tina) Higdon of Cartersville, 2 sisters Joan Bennett of Douglasville and Sandra Gibson of Marietta, 2 brothers Bud (Pat) Mauldin of Pikesville, KY and William H.(Louise) Mauldin of Powder Springs, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
