Mr. James C. Bryant Sr. age 93 of Temple passed away Saturday July 29, 2017 Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11am Bellamy Chapel Hiram Rev. Doug Ledford officiating. Interment Westview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryant Sr. was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, He served during WWII in the U.S. Army, retired from Flowers Bakers and was a long time member of American Baker's & Confectionery Workers Union.
Mr. Bryant Sr. is preceded in death by wife Sarah A Ramsey Bryant and wife Freddie Carroll Bryant. Son Terry Lee Bryant, step grandson Jeff Cohran and great great granddaughter Brittany Jordan. He is survived by 3 daughters Sherry Jo (Gary) Disharoon of Temple, Mary Dell (Tom) Soulsby of Temple, Kathy (Robert) Barker of Blue Ridge, daughter in law Becky Bryant of Rockmart. 2 sons James C. Bryant Jr (Carol) of Lawrenceville and Jerry Ray (Denise) Bryant of Austell. Step children Faye & Jerry Cohran of Temple, Debra & Jerry Turner of Acworth, Snoie Jay & Pat Carroll of Rockmart and Joey Carroll of Marietta. 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 22 step great grandchildren 10 step-great great grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews and his loving dog Tina.
