Mr. Horace "Frank" Franklin Mayfield, age 90, of Clarkdale passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Mr. Mayfield, who was also known to friends and family as Frank "Grandpa" Mayfield, was born on January 18, 1932 in Dallas, GA to the late Mr. John Mayfield and the late Mrs. Willie T. O'Neal Mayfield. Frank was retired with Cobb County Department of Transportation after working as a truck driver. He was a member of Clarkdale Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mayfield was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mrs. Joann Causey Mayfield and one daughter, Brenda Mayfield.

Survivors include his daughter, Rose Hutcheson (Mike) of Rockmart; son, Scott Mayfield (Peggy) of Powder Springs; three grandchildren, Carlos Bickers of Villa Rica, Carrie Bickers Carroll of Dallas, and Trevor Mayfield (Melissa) of Rockmart; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 26th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment to follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 25th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
