Helen E. Smith, age 83, passed away on June 26, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late William and Effie Mae English. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Edward Smith Jr. AKA "Bubba" who she was married to for 41 years and her sons, Freddie Cabrera and David Smith.

Survivors include her children, Robert and Lorrie Cabrera, Darryl Cabrera, Robbie Strickland, Missy Cabrera, J.J. Joyner, Matt and Chanda Cabrera, Eddie Lee, Cindy and Boyce Langley and Darryl Smith; seventeen grandhildren and 24  great-grandchilden.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. from 210 Paulding Lane, Dallas, Georgia 30132.
