Mrs. Hazel E. Pope, age 96, of Hiram passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Mrs. Pope was born on January 14, 1926 in Rome, GA to the late Mr. Raymond M. Carroll and the late Mrs. Lula Agnes Carpenter Carroll. Mrs. Pope was of Baptist faith and enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Hazel was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earnest H. Pope; daughter, Glenda Wilson; son, Gary Pope; two grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Gerstner; two sons, David Pope and Troy Pope; sixteen grandchildren; as well as a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 9th at 11:00am from Paulding Memorial Gardens. Interment to follow at the cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9th from 10:00am until 11:00am.
