Mrs. Glennis Faye Briggs, age 72, of Dallas passed away August 12, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Rev. Paul Richardson officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 1-2:00pm.
Mrs. Briggs was preceded in death by: Parents – James Loy and LouNeta Scott; Brothers – J. Loy Scott and Wilbur Scott
Survivors include: Husband – Ronnie Statts of Dallas; Daughters – Jennifer (Davis) and John Chadwick of Villa Rica and Krista Briggs and Russell Whitfield of Powder Springs; Step-Daughter – Misty Statts of Acworth; Step-Sons – Aaron Statts of Acworth and Jason Statts of Savannah; Sister – Rita and Tom Darrah of Moreland; Sister-in-law – Alice Scott; 1 Grandchild – Jordan Faye Davis; Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Briggs taught school for 32 years and retired from Cobb County School System. She was the Daughter of a Methodist Minister, attended West Ridge and was an avid animal lover.
