Geneva Storey, age 81, of Hiram, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024.

Born on November 7, 1943, in Greenville, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Augustus Jackson and Emmer (Stephens) Jackson. She graduated from East Chicago Roosevelt High School in 1962 and furthered her education in Business Administration and Computer Basics.

Geneva moved to California, where she began her career as an Inventory Control Lead at Stanford Hospital. It was there that she met her late husband, William Storey. The couple married in 1975 and made their home in Menlo Park, CA. In retirement, Geneva and William relocated to Hiram, Georgia, where they enjoyed their golden years together.

An avid bowler, Geneva won numerous championships across various leagues. She loved to sing, cherished her time tending to her plants, and adored her grandchildren, showering them with love and affection. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed camping and fishing adventures. A talented cook, she took great pride in creating delicious meals for her friends and family, especially during the holidays, delighting everyone with her famous collard greens, hot water cornbread, and delectable cakes.

Geneva is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Storey and Angela (Frank) Kemp; her grandchildren, Keira Storey and Michael Perrier; her brothers, Robert Jackson and Charles Jackson; and her sisters, Bobbie Mulholland, Junell Grace, and Lisa Jackson Austin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Jackson, and sister, Dorothy Ann Moon.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 4, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on the same day.
