Geneva Shinall Addison Jones, born on May 15, 1929 in Cartersville, GA passed away August 10, 2015 . She was 1 of 11 children. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James Henry Addison, Sr., her daughter Brenda Lou Huddleston, parents: Robert and Eva Mae Shinall and all of her beloved siblings: brothers, Rob Shinall, Cliff Shinall, Felt Shinall , Joe Shinall , and sisters, Connie Edwards, Julia Mae Shinall, Elizabeth Shinall, Helen Barker, Onie Bell Creswell, and Betty Love. Geneva worked in the office for many years for Sears Roebuck in Atlanta and then worked for Americo in Acworth to be near her sick husband. Geneva's living children are: Donna Sue Karnes (Dallas, GA), James Henry Addison, Jr. (Cartersville, GA), and Michael Joe Addison (Chattanooga, TN). Grandchildren: Ken Huddleston, Kevin Huddleston, TJ Huddleston, Ronnie Huddleston, Phillip Huddleston, Brittney Addison, Mallory Mahoney, Fred Karnes, and Daniel Karnes. Geneva also had 10 great grandkids. She had a large family of loved ones that included in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Geneva loved hiking, gardening, cooking, and reading. She attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville, GA until her health worsened and she went to live at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Home in Dallas, GA.
