Mr. Gary "Duck Duck" Lamar Phillips, age 75, of Dallas passed away Friday, February 9, 2024.

Mr. Phillips was born on December 16, 1948 in Carrollton, GA to the late Mr. William Glynn Phillips and the late Mrs. Mattie Sue Tyson Phillips. Gary proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of West Ridge Church and VFW. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jr. Phillips; sister, Janice Cox; sister, Joyce Turner; brother, David Phillips (Possum); sister, Betty McCay; brother, Bobby Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Phillips of Dallas; sons, Bradley D. Whitmore of Dallas, Jason C. Post (Laci) of Dallas, and Kenneth Tyler Post of Dallas; sister, Doris Livingston of Savannah; brothers, James L. Melba Phillips of Newnan; six grandchildren, Dylan Whitmore, Dalton Whitmore, Avery Post, Eli Post, Kaden Post, and Matthew May; best friends, Michael Lipe and Donald Chambers.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Crawford officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 12th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
