Mrs. Gail Suzanne Self was called home to the Lord on Friday, April 8th 2022 in Bastrop, LA.

Adored by all who knew her she was born Gail Suzanne Thomas on August 10, 1959 in Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Jeneatte Wilmouth Lawson and her father Roy Allen Thomas and two younger brothers, Darrell Glenn Thomas and Jeffrey Allen Thomas.

She leaves behind a devoted husband of 27 years Christopher Columbus Self of Oak Grove, LA. A loving daughter Crystal Gail Thomas of Atlanta, GA. And seven precious grandchildren. Christopher Luis Rodriguez, Gabriella Suzanne Rodriguez, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Jose Federico Rodriguez, Luis Alejandro Rodriguez, Jasmine Eloise Rodiguez and Miguel Angel Rodriguez.

She is survived by three siblings Daniel Thomas, Deborah Bruff, Jenifer Thorsen, one nephew Shane McWilliams, and one niece Brigette Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:30pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Pastor Allen James officiating. Interment to follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 16th from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Bellamy Funeral Home for the funeral expenses of Mrs. Self. Donations may be made Monday-Friday from 9-4pm at 770-943-8050.
