Mrs. Frances "Ruth" Freeman, age 78 of Dallas, passed away March 7, 2017. The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 10th from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, March 11th from 9am-1pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on March 11th at 1:00pm at Bellamy Chapel Hiram, Pastor Rick Dunn officiating. Interment will be at Bethany Christian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of Bethany Christian Church, she owned Freeman's Grocery Store in Paulding County and spent many years coaching girls' softball at Ridge Road.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Freeman, parents, James Roy Austin and Venna Austin as well as 6 siblings. Survivors include: Daughters, Deborah Alexander of Hiram, Coni Hardy (Rick) of Dallas and Mitzi Simons of Hiram. Sisters: Bobbie Jean Leggett (Woodrow) of Dallas and Mary Ayers of Douglasville.
Brothers: Maurice "Possum" Austin (Grace) of Douglasville and Tom Austin (Julia) of Douglasville.
Grandchildren: Echo Lentz, Nikki Richie (Joe), Patrick Hardy (Candra) and Tyler Simons (Jennifer),
9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
