Mrs. Evelyn Inez Wheeler, age 88, of Dallas passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Mrs. Wheeler was born on April 29, 1934 in Rome, GA to the late Mr. Leonard Sheffield and the late Mrs. Josie Watters. Mrs. Wheeler was of Baptist faith, saved, and loved Jesus. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, making wedding dresses, art, and drawing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wheeler and daughter, Felecia Robin Wheeler.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynithia Lynne Wheeler of Dallas; two sons, Tony Wheeler (Patty) of Carrollton and Jeffrey Wheeler (Tracy) of Dallas; one brother, Hugh Sheffield of Rome; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:00pm from Floyd Memory Gardens with Dr. Nick Keller officiating. Interment to follow at the cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 6th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
