Mrs. Evelyn Teal Hardy, age 90, of Hiram, GA passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

A native of Hiram, GA, Mrs. Hardy was born on July 31, 1930, the daughter of the late James Clyde and Rosa Lou Hurst. Evelyn loved to crochet and was a gifted artist. She also loved to dance and enjoyed big band music.

Mrs. Hardy is preceded in death by her parents, James Clyde Hurst and Rosa Lou Hurst; first husband, O.B. Teal, who passed away in 1995; second husband, Romaine Hardy, who passed away in 2014; brother, Earnest Hurst of Hiram; brother, Earl Hurst of Hiram; granddaughter, Misty Conn; great-granddaughter, Rosa Conn.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Shutley (Lamar) of Hiram; son, James "Jimmy" Teal (Elaine) of Dallas; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11am with Pastor Albert Gene Morehouse of Westside Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Friday at the funeral home from 5-7pm.
